Recent Projects

With a track record of delivering vertical access solutions on a diverse range of projects nationwide, NTP are selected by contractors of all sizes to meet their requirements. Below are a selection of recent projects that we are proud to have been a part of.

Bletchley View, Milton Keynes

We are happy to have supplied the hoist package for Winvic Construction at their Bletchley View project in Milton Keynes, supplying an access package of 4 Goods hoists across multiple blocks.

The machines provided were all highly versatile Bocker LX2024 A34 Goods hoists which are capable of moving materials up to 24m/min, with a SWL of 2000kg each.

NTP were contracted to perform monthly inspections on each of these machines to ensure they were kept in good working order. In addition, we also provided operator familiarisation for competent operatives in the safe use of the hoists, supplying operator identification cards and stickers for those that had successfully completed this. This assisted site in the management of competent hoist operators in a busy environment.

NTP have enjoyed working alongside the project team and look forward to continuing to work with Winvic on future projects.

Bocker Giant 20/38 (P/G)
Gascoigne Estate, London

This project at Gascoigne Estate covered multiple phases of the redevelopment program in Barking, London. We have been selected multiple years in a row to supply the construction hoists across the numerous phases and blocks that this project has covered.

Due to this project requiring both Goods Hoists and the ability to transport personnel across different areas of the site, we supplied a combination of Goods Hoists, Transport Platforms and Passenger & Goods Hoists. The Bocker LX2024 machine comes in a variety of modular options, with Willmott Dixon opting for our A34 configuration to take advantage of the extended car size.

We also have a variety of options available for our GEDA 1500ZZP machines, with a number of gate options, extensions and ramp positions so that the optimal configuration can be found for your application. For this project our ‘GD’ option was chosen, this is supplied with a wide ramp to allow for larger loads to be moved into the hoist. They also opted for a roof extension on this machine to allow for even more maneuverability of materials on site.

Finally, the Passenger & Goods hoists supplied were our Bocker Giant 20/38 machines. These were also supplied with C gates and allowed for a variety of uses on site due to the ability to carry both goods and personnel.

NTP provided a fleet of Bocker Giant 20/32 construction hoists, as well as a combination of LX2024 and 1500Z/ZP machines for this multi-phased project in Barking, London.

New Garden Square, Birmingham

Our customer required a fleet of reliable Passenger & Goods hoists to assist in the regeneration project at New Garden Square, Birmingham. In order to meet the needs of site, NTP supplied 3x GEDA PH27/27 machines which were each fitted with a C Gate to allow for an additional access point to each machine.

These highly versitile hoists were installed in progressive visits, with the largest install reaching 14 floors. Winvic opted to use our supplied calling buttons which allowed each floor to communicate with the hoist driver when attention was needed. Not only does this save time on site, this provides an efficient solution for larger projects requiring a quick and easy way to call the hoist to their floor.

This project will result in the completion of up to 400 new homes. The wider development will go on to build a further 1200 homes as well as a mixture of commercial, retail and community spaces. We are proud to have supplied our machines on this project and look forward to working with Winvic again in the future.

With weekly inspections and ongoing maintenance, this project was supplied with a fleet of GEDA Passenger & Goods hoists. These machines assisted in the completion of this regeneration project.

Bank House, Newcastle

Bank House is the first phase of Pilgrim Place, a new office destination for Newcastle, which will provide over 40,000 sq.ft of new offices

The site occupies a prominent gateway position on one of Newcastle’s most important historic streets and offers an exciting opportunity to occupy a landmark building surrounded by new high quality public open spaces.

A large Bocker Giant 2038 passenger & goods hoist was supplied to Bank House. The top landing height was 69m with 14 landing gates. The lifting speed of this machine was 60mpm which ensured that men and materials were distributed to the relevant building levels quickly. Salisbury Tower, Birmingham

This refurbishment project at Salisbury Tower in Birmingham required a combination of Transport Platforms and Passenger & Goods Hoists to cover 22 floors. NTP supplied our customer with two GEDA PH machines, along with a Bocker LX2024 to meet site’s requirements. This tailored fleet was installed with additional C Gates on each hoist.

The modular design of the LX2024 provided allowed our customer to have further choice in configuration, as a number of different platform sizes can be provided to find the best fit. In this instance, our A25 model was chosen, and an additional C Gate was also supplied to provide an additonal entry point to the machine.

Long running projects like this one show the durability of our machines. Over the 77 week duration we continuously examined our hoists and provided weekly inspections to ensure everything is kept in good working order.

Due to the number of floors and nature of the works on site, our operations team worked together with our customer to decide on an installation and dismantle sequence. This allowed for the machines to be installed in stages. Each machine was installed in 5x seperate visits, with thorough testing carried out between each climb along with weight testing to ensure the safety of our hoists.

This project in Birmingham was supplied with a fleet of durable and well-maintained machines, including an LX2024 Transport Platform and multiple GEDA PH 20/32 Passenger & Goods hoists.
