Site Survey
We know that selecting the right construction hoist for your application is of paramount importance, regardless of project size. NTP takes the same approach towards understanding the customer and project requirements.
Our technical sales teams work collaboratively with site management and other trades. We carry out a detailed site survey and offer expert advice and technical assistance on selecting the best solution for your application. This may include bespoke or value-engineered options, and guidance on the most efficient sequencing of installation and dismantling works.
Design & Engineering
We offer extensive technical assistance and support during the pre-planning phase of your project. This includes further collaboration with the client and site temporary works / engineering team. This also involves pre-start meetings, design proposals, site-specific drawings, engineering calculations, and Safe System of Work.
Installation & Dismantle
Following a pre-installation site visit each project is planned in detail by our operations team prior to mobilisation. Installation works are carried out strictly in accordance with approved Safe System of Work by a dedicated team. All of our engineers are suitably trained and qualified for the specialist work being undertaken, and supervised by SSSTS team leaders as required.
Dismantle works can present a challenge due to changing site conditions as the project progresses. It is therefore typical for a pre-dismantle site visit to be carried out before dismantling works and removal of the construction hoist proceed.
Hoist Hire
Whether you are looking for a small goods hoist, transport platform or passenger & goods hoist, our technical sales managers will work with you to guide you through the process from initial concept to completion. We ensure you have the most suitable product and configuration for your application. With our construction hoist range, we can tailor your package to suit your site’s specific needs.
Workshop Facilities
All of our equipment is prepared for hire at our fully equipped premises near Peterborough and undergoes pre-delivery inspection and testing on our test tower facility. NTP have in-house fabrication and manufacturing capabilities and have the ability to modify or manufacture specialist or bespoke items to meet the requirements of the project.
Examination & Certification
Testing of all hoist installations is required under LOLER / PUWER regulations. This will be needed following installation, modification, periodically (six months for passenger & goods hoists and 12 months for goods only and beam hoists) or following exceptional circumstances. Load testing is carried out using certified test weights. NTP offer a package of testing and examination services including weekly and/or monthly inspections as required which are carried out by our competent and qualified engineers.
Operator Familiarisation
On completion of initial installation works and prior to handover of the hoist, NTP offer Hoist Familiarisation for competent operatives in the safe use of the hoists. NTP supply identification cards and stickers for competent operatives that have successfully completed their familiarisation. This allows site management to easily identify authorised hoist operatives on site.
Servicing & Maintenance
With a focus on customer care, our service department schedule
ongoing maintenance and responses to customer call-outs. This supported by our nationwide team of skilled engineers. Scheduled inspections and frequent testing allows us to maintain our machines to the highest standard, providing our customers with important peace of mind.
Advice & Support
NTP takes a collaborative approach and will continue to provide ongoing advice and support throughout the duration of the project.
Our operations team will work with you to organise your scheduled visits and our servicing department is there to offer troubleshooting and provide additional technical support where needed.
